Shur-i-kan has been in great form of late with his remix of Motorcity Soul's Change You on Simple Records and his Twist EP on Urbantorque both charting very highly. To celebrate his first release on Dark Energy Recordings (his joint venture with Milton Jackson) he has decided to release two of his darker and more energetic tracks. Jingle Jangle is a no holds barred assault on the dance floor, electronic percussion and tough beats are underpinned by the spacey appreciated chord sequence that Shur-i-kan is well known for. 287 on the other hand uses a simple riff to full effect, dark and brooding yet organic. When the grumbing bass line hits mind those bass bins.
